Post-quantum · Layer-1 · Self-custody

Trust,
kept in time.

Normans Coin is a Layer-1 blockchain built for the era after classical cryptography. Quantum-resistant signatures, keys that never leave your device, and an open ledger you can audit yourself — engineering measured in precision, not promises.

What it is

A blockchain that treats time as its discipline.

Most chains were designed before the quantum question was urgent. Normans starts from the opposite assumption — that the cryptography protecting value today must outlive the machines built to break it. The result is a network that is conservative where it counts and uncompromising about who holds the keys: you.

Post-quantum core

Accounts are protected by lattice-based signatures standardised by NIST — designed to stand against both classical and quantum adversaries.

True self-custody

Keys are generated and stored on your device. No custodian, no recovery desk — a recovery phrase is the one and only backup, held by you alone.

Open & auditable

An open ledger and reproducible builds mean you never have to take our word for it — you can verify the chain, and verify the app you install.

Fixed supply

A hard, disinflationary cap is written into the protocol — monetary policy you can read, not a dial that someone turns.

Why post-quantum

Harvest now,
decrypt never.

Adversaries already record encrypted data today, betting they can break it once quantum computers mature — "harvest now, decrypt later." For money, that risk is unacceptable. Normans signs and protects value with primitives chosen to resist that future, so the coins you hold now are not a wager on yesterday's math.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is it really post-quantum?

Yes. Accounts and transactions are protected with lattice-based signatures from the NIST post-quantum standards (ML-DSA), chosen to resist attacks from both classical and quantum computers.

Who controls my coins?

Only you. Keys are generated and held on your device, and your recovery phrase is the sole backup. There is no custodian who can move or freeze your funds.

What is temporal sharding?

Normans partitions the day into 24 one-hour windows — temporal shards — on GMT. Each block is routed to the shard of its timestamp, so time itself organises the ledger. The dial above is the live mainnet clock: it shows the window that's currently active.

Is the APK safe to install?

Download it directly here, then use the in-browser verifier above (or sha256sum / apksigner) to confirm the hash and signing certificate match the published values before you install.
